Machine Shed, LLC has purchased a 1.93-acre site at 18252 Evans Street. That’s the southwest corner of 182nd & West Maple Road and in front of a planned Fleet Farm store. The Machine Shed’s slogan is “A restaurant honoring America’s Farmers.” When Gretna Landing was in the early stages, before any announcement of who would go there, the Farm / Fleet location said 150,000 ft national retailer or something like that. There was a lot of local speculation at that time that it would be a target. I got to give the devil their due. Â McDonald's realized about 5 years ago that they had to modernize to compete as much with Starbucks and Panera type restaurants as they did with BK and Wendy's. Â So they have been completely revamping their restaurants. Â As in tearing the old units down and building all new, from scratch. Â There is a night and day. With Menard's lumber yard in the back, there's a ton of space for them to convert the building to a fleet farm and figure out something else for the lumber yard area

I think it's over-hyped for what it is. It would be weird to see a Raising Canes on the side by HyVee and a Chick-fil-A on the west side of 192nd. I swear one of the layout maps someone posted on here for the Fleet Farm development had a Chick-fil-A marked on a pad.
